Highs: The first part of Joss Whedon’s “Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” is streaming live now (though slightly poorly from Australia…) Funny stuff, clever tunes and that clear Whedon polish from something so seemingly “small”.
Lows: Of all the things that Emusic could have gone and posted “We’re sorry. This album is unavailable for download in your country (Australia) at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause” across … they had to do it with The Hold Steady! Nooooooooo!
I’ve been waiting for “Stay Positive” for months now, and they go and deny me the instant gratification of downloading. Really don’t want to use iTunes (it’s been there for several weeks of course), though maybe I should… and I was strongly thinking about buying it on CD as well for a few extra tracks and to be a really fanboy completionist… so now I really will. Tomorrow even.
I mean, it’s not the band’s fault, so CD it is then.
