Joss Whedon brings his Dr Horrible to life

After a warning to the world several months ago that I mentioned here, Joss Whedon has put out the first preview for his comic book, sci-fi, comedy bizarro musical short film “Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”. What started as a joke of a good time during the writer’s strike is now a very real and very professional looking production, created by the brother’s Whedon (Joss, Zack and Jed), and starring the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion. The preview:

Whedon has promised to release the whole thing for a very short time online later this month, then properly package it all in DVD and pay for download. Looks like great fun, and has gone from a private joke to a really serious attempt to show what top talent can do with online distribution and no studios.

Look out for it soon!
