Charlie Stross makes a post, that while by his own admission is a rant, it’s a pretty astute look at the state of web publishing and the attendant bloat surrounding online content and its related advertising and delivery technology. He wonders why 950 words of text can be surrounded by nearly 1mb of images, javascript, flash and other assorted stuff that is anything but content.
