Been away at this work “offsite” event, and while it’s always interesting, it’s a bit dull on account of the weather. We’re at a resort, and yet it’s been raining nearly all the time, and when not raining, just dark, dull and terrible.
But the event has been fun, if a little overdone with business enthusiasm — they talk the talk but it’s hard to see most things happening, at least for me. That’s always the thing though. So I guess the best idea is just to sit back and enjoy the event. Free food, free drinks, a good hotel room… etc, etc.
Last night was a pretty big party, and tonight promises to be even bigger, with sporting events the next day. Ha!
