Well… jobs pretty damn slow, world seems nuts, new job front is variable, but it’s basically okay :)

Really like being back in Newtown, with all the opportunities of Sydney and the things to do, even if I can’t always do them due to the finances. There are things I’m not saying here, but I certainly will be soon…

Looking at LiveJournal and RSS feed stuff soon, maybe something to get more of an audience here. There’s more to this blogging business than I’ve seen so far, and I know I can make better use of it. And I do have some creative ideas.

Job front might be looking great… got several opportunities that might be happening, which could lead to a very interesting employment situation indeed…

But the writing is the thing. Sometimes it’s that I have so many projects that I don’t quite know which one to do, other times it’s that the one project seems bogged down. But I know the first novel needs a good revision and then I’m sending it to the US and UK. And I know exactly who’d play my lead villain, if I had absolute choice in the world. Everyone thinks she’s nuts but hot, and that’s exactly why she’d be so good in the role :)

Early in the morning here… and it’s my birthday today :)

Expect to have a nice day, but most activities and all presents will be on Sunday and maybe later.

It’s all good anyway, but it’s always a date to make me consider the present and contemplate my plans for the future. Which is usually a good thing anyway.

Since I expect today to be fairly quiet until the evening, I really feel like getting some writing done :)

Interesting couple of weeks. Seems like though, unlike the rest of the Internet, I haven’t been intent on posting things on my site. A little slow on the creative front as well, but I’ve definitely been preoccupied…

But I’ve been having plenty of fun though. Saw 1200 Techniques and Machine Gun Fellatio at a free concert at Fox Studios recently. Great time - 1200 Tech are brilliant live.

Went to the second annual Ozcomics barbeque out at my friend Tim McEwan’s place. Excellent day of food and cricket and comic talk. Met lots of comic people. That definitely won’t be the end of my times with them (convention soon…)

Finally saw the last Lord of the Rings movie last weekend - just a couple of days before it went and won all those Oscars. Probably the last person on earth to see it that actually wanted to… but damn it was worth it :)
