Wired News has a short piece on Joss Whedon’s new show Dollhouse, and some interesting casting info that I hadn’t heard before.
Here’s the first shot of the new cast:
Eliza Dushku looks as hot as ever. Tahmoh Penikett from Battlestar Galactica is at the back left, and Amy Acker from Angel is in there with a major role, which I didn’t know until this story.
And what’s even more interesting is someone I didn’t even know was in Hollywood — to the right of Dushku is Dichen Lachman, an Aussie actress of Nepalese background, who from the looks of things plays one of Echo’s (Dushku) fell “dolls”. Lachman used to be a regular on Neighbours, and while I never went for Neighbours, I did notice her — she’s got a really interesting and exotic look about her, which I imagine will work well in this role.
And it’s Joss Whedon — that’s all that needs to be said.
