Found out I won a Walkley Award last week – well, me and a dozen other people I used to work with actually. The Walkley Awards are Australia’s premiere awards for journalism. We all won for online journalism for the Sydney Morning Herald Sydney 2000 Olympics website. Three cheers for me I guess!!

I’m happy to be sure – it will look great on the resume – and I’m very surprised. It probably won’t hurt my chances on the things that really matter either…
