Now this is the stuff… a lengthy six minute preview for Aaron Sorkin’s new series “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”, featuring Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, DL Hughley and Nate Corrdry (among others).
Superficially, the premise couldn’t be further removed from “The West Wing”, but at the same time, it’s still about group of talented, passionate people, working together to produce something larger than themselves, so I think the similarities will be surprising. This time, the show is set in the production of a “Saturday Night Live”-style show, and certainly features the same brilliant fast and snappy dialogue that made “The West Wing” so good.
