I’m leaving my current job soon. But don’t take that to mean that I’ve quit.

The truth is, the job quit on me. It’s a funny thing when that happens. It’s called being made redundant, but they don’t make you leave. They send your whole work life into oblivion, so you’d be mad not to leave.

But it might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
