I spent most of today online on Twitter, following news from Boston. And if not Twitter then various news sites. Barely touched TV news, but I got a better handle of things.
I was predisposed to do this of course — was looking for a day of doing little and spending nothing — so it was easy. We did go down to a local park for a walk for a while, which was good, but otherwise it was news junkie central.
Little point talking about the details, except that the Internet got it wrong at least as much as TV, but it was a live ongoing event, and a bit nuts at that. A lot to think about.
