Within hours of the UK airing The Doctor is back on ABC!
Very much good fun, with Matt Smith bounding around as goofy as ever, and his new assistant Jenna-Louise Coleman is appealing, and her character may just be the most fascinating companion yet.
The storyline was the typically amusing monster thing, with just the slightest touch of genuine creepiness — basically a classic zombie story, this time with wi-fi as the infection agent. Add villains you really want to punch, and there you go.
