Did a number of community minded things today: went to a seminar on helping children recover from trauma after bushfires and other trauma. Seems a necessary thing, good advice to hear. I went to our sons’ parent/teacher night and learned a lot, and I’m glad to say, taught them a lot two. Hopefully doing some iPad time there soon 🙂
And it turns out the Triple J One Night Stand will be in Dubbo this year. It’s not Coonabarabran, but in the scheme of things it’s virtually down the road, so that’s very exciting. Hopefully we will be going to this, finally! Who knows, I could even help take a bus-load of school kids there, and that certainly would be community minded…
