Sallie and I went to Will’s school assembly today, their last one for the term, because Will’s class was performing.
It was a cute little show, where KC sang a song about what you want to be when you grow up, then they played a little video about the same topic, where every kid in the class says their bit about what they want to do in the future.
They’re only five and six of course, so it was more cute than anything else — lots of bus drivers, truck drivers and policemen, plus farmers (a natural in Coona), but when it got to Will, it was something special. He was only on quick, but there were subtitles for all, and Will said:
“I want to be a computer man.”
Now that’s what it’s all about 🙂 Completely different to the other kids, and obviously an area he loves already, but when he wants to follow in his Dad’s footsteps, what more can I say? 🙂
