Well half of one, at least. You usually do so much at this time of year that it’s good to have just one day that is quiet and relaxing.
Managed to do as I pleased for most of the day, though did do the grocery shopping with Will at night. Always fun, because Will loves shopping like he loves playgrounds and Pixar movies.
Ate dinner really late, but the Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto was the best I’d ever made. The veges came from the markets last week, and the vegetable stock was something I bought, which did seem to be better than our home made stuff.
I do like cooking, late or otherwise, with the fresher ingedients the better. Wonder if I should enter MasterChef 🙂
