Quieter day … Will’s sick again, but we went over to the parents for lunch. It’s Will’s birthday on Wednesday, so he got some presents there today, but he just wasn’t that into it.
But Wests won, and that made it all good 🙂 After three straight losses and a season’s worth of injuries already, they finally won again. After a terrible start to the game, they came back to win 30-10 against Souths, who are now 0-6 for the season and heading for the wooden spoon again.
On the one hand, it was great to see them win with the family (Dad and Wayne, pessimistic to the end), but on the other hand, Souths are terrible so at least it was convincing in the end. Apparently Robbe Farah and even Benji Marshall come back next week, so it might just be looking up.
